Log Your Will Attend Here: Land Run 2027 - GCBVXPY
The Poker Run of Land Run 2027 will be held
Friday, July 30 in Downtown Stillwater, OK.
There will be a total of Seven (7) stops on the Poker Run with 7 Poker Run Adventure Labs ( One Lab Adventure with 5 locations) at each stop.
Each Poker stop will have a Poker Run Geocache where you will scan the code with your phone using the poker run app.
This is an activity designed to get you out into the community to explore the surrounding areas, experience Downtown Stillwater and have some fun. There is plenty of time between the start of the Poker Run and closing time to get your cards so please take some time to visit each location and see what interesting things await you there.
Poker Run rules to follow:
Register as a Poker Run player - Scan the code and log into the Poker Run Site. You can get registered starting 2 weeks before the actual Poker Run begins. Additional Directions will be given at the Friday morning event - Kicking off the Poker Run - GC#####
One registration per person. (If your geocaching name is for a group i.e. The Outlaws - then designate each individual on a separate registration for each person playing i.e. The Outlaws Bob, The Outlaws Sue)
Collect One "Card" from each Poker Run Geocache using the Poker Run Phone app. Each player needs to collect their own cards
Complete all 7 Poker Run stops before the end of the game. Announcements in the app will let you know when we are about to close the Poker Run.
NOTE: The game closes at 4:00 PM - you will get a reminder about 3:30 PM - ALL entries are due by 4:00 PM.
Top Poker hands will be determined as the best 5 cards out of 7 using the WSOP hand rankings and descriptions shown below.
The Card Reveal Presentation will be shown at the Friday Night - Poker & Pathtags Event - GC#####
WINNERS MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN AND COLLECT YOUR PRIZE - We will award prizes for the top FIVE (5) poker hands and the lowest hand overall
In the event of a tie, the Land Run Office (event committee) will determine a fair tie breaker.
This is NOT a race - you have plenty of time. So travel carefully.
Please do not overcrowd each business. These are small shops and have volunteered to host this event. If too many people are there PLEASE go to the next one and then come back.
Again you have plenty of time to eat lunch with friends at one of the downtown restaurants, do some Geocaching, Waymarking or Sight Seeing, and enjoy the shops, museums, and downtown area.
Any and ALL tie breakers will be determined fairly by the Land Run Office ( the event committee)
